PERSONALLY...I do not really believe in gossip mags...but  Ohno IS a healthy 27 y.o. boy, right?
So whatever the truth...GOOD LUCK TO HIM...if the Friday article is all crap, then I sure do hope that no one - like Ohno himself OR anyone who he cares about (like, his real girlfriend if there is one) is feeling hurt or sad about it.
I am writing this from my own point of view, adding a bit of sarcastic humor ( I cannot help myself) be warned!

So, only for those who LOVE Ohno and Arashi and who will not be broken hearted by seeing love love shots (LOL) of Arashi members...and those who will not take offense to me making a joke out of the situation...

Well, the mag reckons that the photo was taken last autumn (Sep-Nov 2007) and from the angle of the photo, and the position of Ohno's arm, Ohno was meant to have taken the photo himself, holding out the camera/mobile phone with camera.

The mag does not claim they are "dating" but implies by saying holding her so closely like that, they must be "more than friends"(sorry - it is not like I am in denial, and I certainly would congratulate him for dispelling the gay rumors with the photos...but looking at the photo...how can they say they must be dating...!!!!! LOL)

I must say...very very very cute photo of Ohno...and they both look very happy and smiley (and maybe tipsy, too) good for them!

Anyway...

So, who is Yoshino Kimika?

She was born on 5th Sep, 1975, making her about 5 years older than him.

Oh-chan and Kimika-san acted in Sengoku-Pu theater play together back in 2003.

She was very popular as Idol/Grabia Idol (sexy idol? should I say?) .

She debuted in 1989 and peaked in popularity around 1994-1996 - she was the leading actress in horror movie series called "EkoEkoAzaraku - Wizard of Darkness" in which she played a witch heroine with a dark side (and nudity!).

She used to date a big baseball star Kiyohara but dumped in 1996, suffered from anorexia after that and lost 10kg and got hospitalised, then had a brief break from her entertainment career.

She then dated Nagura san (a comedian) from 1998-2002/3 fro 5 years, and lived with him , and Nagura even did an announcement saying that he has introduced Kimika to his parents already and they are dating in view to marry...BUT ...they broke up and in ２００５、Nagura married ex-idol Watanabe Marina instead.

Poor Kimika...!

Anyway...Oh-chan and Kimika-san met in 2003 during Sengoku pu...if they are dating, we do not know since when and for how long...but hey, friend or more than friend...they seem to keep each other happy :)

In my previous entry, I have written about Oh-chan's relationship rumors entitled "Oh-chan Relationship Rumors - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"

It seems they have been good friends since Butai, and there have been many rumors saying that they are dating.

Some people say that a "friend" Kimika refers to in her blog, is in fact, Oh-chan etc.
Apparently, there have been a few blog entries that seemed to prove that they are, at least, very good friends(if the rumor is true) and maybe even more...

For example, Kimika wrote about receiving a souvenir from a "friend" who went to Fukuoka - at the same time, Oh-chan was in Fukuoka doing Arashi concert etc.

She has been seen at Arashi concert and apparently, at one of the concerts, Oh-chan threw his sign board at her and she caught it LOL.

Well, what I know is that they are, definitely, at least, good friends.

In my previous entry, "Riida's Friend　－　Junya Kudo　" I introduced another good friend of Oh-chan - Kuyan.
Ironically, almost a year ago, on 7th July, 2007, Kuyan wrote about drinking alone with Oh-chan at a pub.

Then, a few of their friends "happen" to come to the same pub and they ended up drinking together.

In both photos, Oh-chan was the photographer, and he sneaked in his hand doing a peace sign.

In the second photo, it shows Kimika-san (left hand side), with Ku-yan's hand around her...

I was looking at the photo...and this is where I went into a big laughing binge...

OK, so, if Friday mag says "they must be more than friends"...then Kuyan must be dating Kimika, too...LOOK AT HOW HE HOLDS  KIMIKA SO CLOSE TO HIM!

JUN and Oh-chan MUST be more than friends...LOOK!

OH MY!!!!! Jun and Ohno MUST be dating!!! Look at those photos !!

Hang on...NOOOOOOOOO! They are not just dating...they MUST be living together...!!!

AND Sho-chan, too!!! They said that they "happened to bump into each other at a festival..." no,no,no, they were on a hot date! And you know what? The photo is from a long time ago...but if it was Friday mag, it would probably say...the photo is from last summer...LOL !

How about this guy from Amatsukaze??? According to Friday, is he also dating Oh-chan? They MUST be more than just friends/colleague...???Hehehe.

When I first heard about the "scandal" ...my first thought was... who is it with ...? Sho-chan? Nino? LOL

Anyway...some rumor says that the photo Friday mag was meant to release was actually Oh-chan and Kimika doing something naughty in  Kimika's car (since Oh-chan does not have a driving licence and does not have a car...) ...
Apparently, the Johnny's Jimusho negotiated with the magazine people and offered Ohno & Kimika shot instead.

Some rumor say that it is all set up - as in Jimusho  knowingly leaked the photos  to  advertise Ohno's new drama, trying to get attention of the public...

At today's concert, apparently no one mentioned the photos or the Friday scandal...in the past, Nino dealt with his scandal saying "Don't worry...and Keep following me/Stay being my fan cuz there is nothing to worry about" sort of comment during the concert and Aiba dealt with it by apologising to the fans during the concert...with Oh-chan...nothing...

So maybe it is complete gossip/crap, or maybe it is true, maybe it is a set up publicity scam...who knows?

But what I do not understand - although I AM Japanese...is this...WHY IS IT A "BETRAYAL" to the fans if  Johnny's Idol has a girlfriend??????????? Why is it such a big deal???????????? Why should the fans stop supporting them if they have so called scandals with females...??????WHY? I cannot understand...To me...well...it is awfully scary to think healthy 27yo has never had a girlfriend...especially someone as attractive as Ohno...or any other Arashi members...

I was saddened to see messages from angry fans (or people pretending to be fans)  criticising Oh-chan for failing to be professional...as an idol, it is meant to be his job to hide any girlfriend related facts from his fans...he is stupid to take such photo ...he is gonnna bring Arashi down with his stupidity and unprofessionalism...etc. etc... Agggrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Please ...people...get a life! I just thought poor Oh-chan must have felt hurt if he saw any of those comments written about him...(cries)

Sorry...rant rant rant...needed to vent my frustration...

Excellent casts gathered to appear regularly on Maou drama, however, it was decided that for the first episode, Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari will appear!

I will give you a report on Ohno kun and Nnomiya kun's scene filmed the other day.

The day of the filming was a very hot day, a break from rain seeason, with the sun glaring.
However...those two must have been good boys! Filming was inside a tunnel so it was in a shade and the wind blew through the tunnel - so it was very comfortable filming condition. But both Ohno kun and Ninomiya kun had to wear suits, so unlike us staff (who must have worn light clothing) , they must have been still pretty hot...well...well done!

Ninomiya san arrived at the filming site with all smiles. When he was introduced as "first episode's special guest, Ninomiya Kazunari san!", staff clapped and cheered him. that's right...Maou's staff consist of many staf who also worked on Yamada Taro Monogatari from last year in which Ninomiya was cast as the leading character. So, he knew many of the staff. He was shaking hands and playing around with the staff and seemed very happy to meet the staff he worked with last year. However, when the filming started, he quickly wiped smiles off his face, played a "man" who faces Ohno-kun's character in all seriousness. he was also seen seriously discussing his character with Director Katou as well.  There was a scene that showed Ohno-kun's face with no expression, and in stark contrast, Ninomiya kun glaring at Ohno kun...which sent shivers up my spine. The scene wound up to be very interesting. You cannot miss it!

Well, on the day of filming, many reporters came to the filming site hearing about Ninomiya san's appearance.
TV magazines, Idol magazines, Women's magazines...all together 13 publishers! As soon as they moved, cameras followed and it looked like some large scale relocatio of a tribe or something LOL.During the break, two of them were sitting side by side on chairs, seemed to be having fun talking with each other...and playing around...and from nowhere, cameras would appear and start taking photos. Ninomiya kun noticed, and said "look, we are getting the photos taken...let's see..." then they would do a "guts" pose, or hold hands (like a couple, clasping fingers ) responding in kind. If you are interested in seeing those scenes between the two, then please check out the magazines!

Once the filming was concluded, two of them were interviewed together. They were having such excellent conversation so I will report some of their conversation here. 　

―on Ohno-san's acting
nino: It is just great. His acting was so good that it made me think "have you ever seen such a great actor before in your life?"...he is just great just as I thought.   　

―what did you think of Ohno-san's "Maou's eyes"?
Nino: Once you look at them , its all over, isn't it? I dont think people have seen him look like that before. Probably a few times in his stageplays...so I would imagine people would be pleasantly surprised.  　 　

―Filming of Maou with you took such short time...
Nino: It feels so irresponsible...LOL but if I get invited again, I will come again. And there are three more...(sakurai, aiba & matsumoto) in Arashi...

Ohno: you should appear all the way through...let's do the same scene over and over...

Nino: even if we did it, it would not be meaningful! it would be like rebroadcast...maybe there is a possibility other three would appear?

Ohno: I would love them all to appear...
　
―Tips for surviving summer drama (filming)?
Nino: well, in my case, everyone was freindly on the set...so I did not get knocked down by the heat or anything...I somehow survived whining to others "ah~ its so hot~...but from what I hear...Maou does not have any friends on his side...LOL

Ohno: that's just the character~

nino: well, he has no one he can talk and whine to...so it probably will be very difficult for him...

―Ohno-san 's character is meant to be a lawyer with a dark side...well...we do not feel "darkness" in Ohno-san...do you have a dark side?

nino: it is a chance...tell them! LOL　
ohno: well...I do have elements of darkness...as I play this character, I feel more and more darkness coming out...
nino: well...does that mean you have no dark side, then?
Ohno: ...basically, less than other people...so it makes it harder for me but I am doing my best concentrating on it...
nino: I guess someone with dark side playing this role would not be as interesting...a person without a dark side playing the character of Maou makes it interesting...doesn't it?

―is there a dark side of Ohno -san Ninomiya-san knows?
nino: 　 He was dark when he was young.
ohno: I am still young LOL 　
nino:　 He was "sharp" (spiky...? not sure how to translate this one...not sharp as in clever sharp...that is for sure...he meant more "dark" spiky personality...aloof? maybe? ) so sharp I could not believe there was a person who could be as sharp as he was...if you knew him back then, you would not have had any problem accepting that Ohno-san is cast as Maou...when he was in his teens, he was so dark I cannot even tell you how dark he was here...LOL he got "rounded" (mellowed I think...) ...he used to be sharp/spiky ...
Ohno: was NOT!
Nino: you were so... ! see? they do not realise it! those who were sharp/spiky in youth do not realise that they were! LOL
Ohno: Is that so? LOL
Nino: taht is right...it has been a long time seeing you being "sharp"

―please tell us scenes of interests in Maou drama
Ohno: it is my first experience with drama...so I was fumbling through at the beginning...but I think the atmosphere of the filming set will gradually improve...and I hope that I can concentrate and become a good Maou...well...not good...but BAD maou.
Nino: well, I will only be appearing in the first episode...but after that, continuing onto second episode, third episode... as the stories unfold, I am sort of expecting there is going to be development of a story...and when we realise  "I was actually Maou" ! and at the end, if yo scratch the poster's ohno san's bit, it reveals Ninomiya Kazunari...that kind of development is highly anticipated by me...LOL well, I am thinking of a way to somehow become a regular cast...well, it is a very serious drama but the relationship of the characters are so well thought of...so...I think it would be nice if people could enjoy such element of this drama...hey, I said such a clever thing here LOL.

Well, laughter never stopped during the interview just as you can imagine from the above report. Ohno-kun seemd to be relaxed thanks to Arashi member on filming site and he seemed to speak a lot more than usual.

Such two good friends cast on opposite side...you should not miss it!Well...Ninomiya kun is hoping to become Maou instead of ohno kun...LOL Well, the scene would be a rare one which can be only seen on 4th July...don't miss it!

In a rush, a surprise guest cast has been decided...!!!

Well...surprise!  in the first episode, Ninomiya Kazunari san from Arashi will appear!

He said he wanted to support leader's Drama, and adjusted his busy schedule to appear in the drama for us!

Oh-chan seemed relaxed fimling the drama with a member from Arashi. they never stopped smiling during the filming breaks, sitting next to each other on chairs.

I got the impression that Arashi members are really good friends...

However, once the filming started, the atmosphere changed quickly...showing great acting skills, two of them acting with sparks flying.

Ninomiya san was very passionate despite being a guest cast and was discussing how to act his character seriously with oh-chan and the director.

Only a short filming, but we felt stimulated by his appearance. Thank you Ninomiya san!

It is a secret where he appears!
