Your Song at Tokyo Dome

今日は嵐のライブに行ってきました。

I went to Arashi's live today.

といっても、チケットが手に入らず、

東京ドームの前で呆然と立ち尽くしていました（笑）

However, I could not get a ticket, so I was standing, totally dazed, in front of Tokyo dome LOL.

男性１名。周りは皆女の子。

One male person...around me were all girls.

不思議な人・・・・って思われた方が多数。多分僕です。

If you noticed a weired person, that was probably me.

ダフ屋すら全くいない・・・・・、

Not even　a scalper selling tickets...

東京ドームの周りにはチケットが手に入らなかったファンの方が数百人はいたんじゃないかなぁ。

I think there were at least a couple of hundred fans who could not get tickets around Tokyo dome.

嵐の人気はすごいと思っていたけれど、

ここまで凄まじいとは・・。

I thought Arashi was popular...

but did not realise just how popular...

曲を作るにあたってwikipediaとか調べて、色々彼等のことを知っていくと

嵐は本当に才能と努力の塊。

When I was writing a song, I researched Arashi and realised just how talented and hardworking they are.

普通に関心して頭が下がり、本当にいいグループだと思います。

I naturally was impressed and think Arashi is such a great group.

アンチアイドルの方は一回調べると、見方が変わりますよ（笑）

If you have a negative view towards "idol", you should do your research properly - your view will change LOL.

僕が作った曲、「YOUR SONG」が、

特にライブで皆で歌うことを想定した曲ということもあり、

満員の東京ドームで「ラララ、ラーララ」

の響きを聴いてみたかったんです。

I wanted to listen to the song I made...[Your Song]...the song written, assuming it to be sang by the fans at the live...I wanted to listen to [alala, la-lala] echoing in Tokyo dome filled with Arashi fans...singing it together...

「YOUR SONG」が歌われているとき、

会場の方がものすごく歌ってくれていて、

僕がいた少し肌寒い、ドームの外までよく聞こえてきました。

Fans inside the Tokyo dome were all singing along to Your Song, the sound traveled to outside of the Tokyo dome, where I was , feeling the cold night air.

それと呼応するように、

ドームの周りにいる人たちが、

驚くほど、皆、歌っていて、

It was like in response, people around the Tokyo dome, surprisingly many of them actually sang along outside as well...

終わった後には、皆で歓声と拍手。

and once they finished singing, everyone clapped and cheered...

警備員の方から、「静かにしてください」と注意がはいるほど。

It was so noisy that security guard actually told us to be quiet...

正直ジーンとした。

Well...to be honest...I was so touched.

あぁ中で聴きてぇ・・・・・。

Ah, I want to listen to it inside...

正直。

My honest thought...

多分色々複雑な感情を抱くことになるとは思うけれど、

その気持ちを自分に刻み込まなければいけない気がする。

I believe it will give me many complicated feelings...but I feel I must feel those feelings and hold them dear.

福岡か北海道のライブに旅行がてら行こうと思う。

I am thinking of going to Fukuoka or Hokkaido (Sapporo) for a little trip and also to attend Arashi's live.

東京ドームで歌われる音楽を作ったんだと、

なんかしみじみ。

I cannot believe I made a song which is sang at Tokyo dome...

通過点。

It is only a Passing point.

今日は嵐のコンサートの前、増田翔君にレコーディング手伝ってもらって、

その編集、ミックス等をやってました。

Before going to Arashi's live today, I was editing and mixing a song, with Masuda Sho -kun helping me with recording.

激熱な仕上がり。これ、採用になります。（多分）・・といいなぁ。

Excellent finishing product...I hope it does get used...

JIGSOULの曲も色々アイデアたまってきているから一気に形にするぞ。

I have gathered many ideas for Jigsoul, too...I am gonna make them into something tangible...

嵐の皆さん、嵐のファンの皆さん、素敵な歌声をありがとう。

１９日の福岡ドームのチケットを手に入れ、いざ一人旅へ（笑）

I got a ticket to Fukuoka dome on 19th and am on my way to a little trip of my own LOL.

（行く前にストリート火曜にやります！それと作曲一本、働け勝彦。）

(Before I go off, I will do a street live and I need to compose one song...work, Katsuhiko!)

結局東京ドームには入れずじまいなので、本日入手しました。

After all, I could not get into the Tokyo dome...so I got this ticket today.

男性１名だと動機に疑問をもたれましたね・・・。

Male on his own...they seemed to wonder my reason for wanting to go to Arashi concert...

嵐と満員の福岡やフードームで五万人の声を重ねたとき、僕が今まで聴いたことのない、優しく力強い響きが生まれた。

When Arashi and 50,000fans sang together at Fukuoka dome, sweet and powerful harmony I have never heard before was born.

僕の中でYOUR　SONGという歌が本当の産声をあげた瞬間だった。

To me, it was the moment YOUR SONG was actually born.

嵐の皆さんの本当に嬉しそうな表情。

五万人の重ね合わせた感動の波が、ドームの巨大な空間を埋めつくし、僕はそれを全身で受けた。

I was so touched by the harmony of 50,000people filling the dome's vast space.

「LALALA・・・・」

心が震えた。

Lalala...my heart trembled.

僕は歌うのと同時に、何度ぬぐってもぼやけてしまう目に、ステージを、ファンの方の表情を、そして優しくゆれる色とりどりのペンライトの光の海を焼き付けようと必死だった。

I was trying so hard to expose the image of the stage, the facial expressions of the fans, and the ocean of colourful lights waving gently onto my eyes which kept welling up with tears as I sang along.

「この響きが探し続けてきた歌」

[This sound/harmony is the song I was looking for]

その響きには歌詞すらない。

No lyrics to the harmony...

でも苦しいほど胸がいっぱいに。

yet my heart was filled...

僕はこの歌のほんのきっかけを作ったに過ぎないけど、自分がこの曲を生み出せたことを誇りに思っています。

I only contribute a little to creating the "song" (he is referring to the song sang along by 50000fans at dome) , but I am proud that I created the song.

さらに、ライブの最後にCDと違うアレンジで用意されていて･･･、僕が最初に作ったものに近い、本当にシンプルなアレンジでこの歌が歌われていたことも嬉しかった。

Furthermore...the song sang at the dome at the end of the live was arranged differently to the one recorded in the album...it was actually closer to the original song I created with simple arrange...that was even more touching to hear it sang in more original form...

嵐のライブは「伝えること」を本当に大切に考えられていて、この歌を、嵐が歌ってくれて本当に良かった。

Arashi thinks seriously about "communication"at  their live, and I am so glad that Arashi sang the song.

会場があれだけ１つになれたのは、嵐だったから。

It was because it was Arashi that the whole dome could became one like that...

この感動を必ず素敵な曲にしてみせます！

I will turn this emotion into a beautiful song!

I have been so busy with my work and have not been able to come here to chek out Arashigoto...
But today...I knew I had to...because...ＡＲＡＳＨＩ Ｍａｒｋｓ 2008 Ｄｒｅａｍ-Ａ-Ｌｉｖｅ has started!!!!! Kya-!

Unfortunately I cannot get there...*cries* but thanks to the concert reports and lovely pics of concert goods etc., I am enjoying Virtual Concert reading reports, listening to Arashi songs (organised into concert set list!)...

I have noticed that lovely kikinini has posted concert goods pics already here AND amazing 嵐 has posted pamphlet scans here!!!! Aren't they soooooooo nice sharing those around with Arashians! I am so grateful!

Before the Concert...
On average fans queue up for about an hour to buy concert goods...
Many of the fans a little taken aback by the concert good design LOL
Some start a rumor saying the caterpillar design (apparently Aiba's idea) is drawn by Sakurai Gahaku (Artist Sakurai)LOL!!!
About an hour after the first report on concert goods appear on internet, a few start saying ..."well, after staring at the concert goods for the past hour, they started to grow on me a bit...when you look at the caterpillar closely...it is rather cute..." and yes...I think so, too...
Pretty average photos for the Fan/Uchiwa ... but I still would kill for Riida Uchiwa... not a great photo but still so cute...
Pretty hot day in Osaka...
Excitement builds up!!!!!!!!

Main Themes for the Concert seem to be

 (Amusement Park??? probably Jun got a bit too inspired by CirqueDuSoleil he watched while in Vegas...? )

• Sakurai on a heart shaped bug of some kind (maybe a lady beetle)

9. Ohno Solo:Take me faraway

• Golden vest buttoned up in front (maybe a singlet underneath - could not be seen) and black pants
• On stage is a chair
• Showed recorded tape of Ohno dancing on the background screen
• Pretty calm and relaxed kind of dance with a bit of hip swiveling - to begin with, on his own
• MAD (back dancers) appear midway through the dance routine/solo
• Towards the end, Ohno stand on a chair and sing
• The ending is a still pose on the chair...

• A hat (not a cap), quilted down vest (whiteish ...but pink on the back and the front was yellow and blue...omg)

Sakurai drinks out of a bottle and sucks the bottle in (like Time DVD)
Ninomiya said: 「ちゃんとﾍﾟｯﾄﾎﾞﾄﾙ直して！」Fix up the bottle, please!

Aiba got spotted at the airport
They arrived in Osaka the day before the concert.
At the airport, they encountered a group of school kids(junior high school students)  on school trip of some kind.
They suspect they were on their way home, and not on their way to the travel destination.

They spotted Aiba and a student yelled out "Aiba!"(as in without "san" or "chan" but just Aiba)

Aiba was curious what his fans call him...

Arashi asked the audience  「ﾌｧﾝの子はﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄではaiba さんのこと何て呼んでるの？」what do you call Aiba san in private? (private as in not at the concert etc.)

Most said "Aiba chan" and some "Aiba kun" and some just "Aiba"

Matumoto did a mimic of a schoolgirl encounter with Aiba (apprently Matumoto was having so much fan ding this) :
walking schoolgirl - realise its Aiba! - waves hand madly - says "it's Aiba!" to a friend next to her

Ninomiya Card Trick (like the one from himitsu )
apprently, Nino did a quick card trick ...a pretty simple one

Aiba and Ohno at Disneyland
Aiba and Ohno went to Disneyland together on invitation only 25th Anniversary or something special day.
They were not alone but with their manager as well (probably was not private thing but Johnny's jimusho related)
They only went on three rides - Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion

Aiba & Ohno: 「２人でDisneyland行ったんだよね～」we went to disneyland together
Sakurai: 「なんかちょっと気持ち悪い」It is a bit sick...
Sakurai or Nino (not sure) 「それは本当に２人なの？ 」was it really just the two of you  ????
Aiba: 「２人っちゃぁ…２人？」well...just the two of us...??
Aiba:「ﾏﾈｰｼﾞｬｰもいたと言えば…いたかな」I guess there was a manager...

Aiba: 「俺おみやげにTｼｬﾂ買ったじゃん、まあ、皆着てくんなかったけど」I bought all of you Tshirt each but no one has bothered to wear them...

At the gift shop, Aiba was slapped on his shoulders by an older lady saying 「ああ～久しぶり～！」 "wow, long time no seen!" (of course not someone Aiba knew just a fan)

According to Ohno, Aiba was thrown about by the impact of the slapping on his shoulder...「aiba ちゃん軽く吹っ飛んでたよね」

Ohno Drama

Apparently, Matumoto kept patting Ohno's hair for a loooooooong time...
Sakurai: 「リーダーは松潤にとって何なの？」What is leader (ohno) to you?
Matumoto 「リーダーの黒髪超久しぶりだから」Well, it's been a long time since I saw Leader (ohno)'s black hair...

Members asked Ohno why he dyed his fair black (expecting a reply of for the TV drama)
but Ohno replied 「気まぐれです」I just felt like it...
Fans started booing...
Members said something like: せっかく振ったのに！ちゃんとﾊﾟｽ受けて！もう一回やるよ Hey, we've taken the trouble to give you the opportunity to talk about your TV drama...please take the opportunity! Try again!
Second take - why did you dye your hair black?
Ohno: Because I will be doing Maou drama...
Fans clap ...members start praising saying things like first time appearing in TV drama series and the main character!
Ohno was apparently pretty embarrassed...
Members asked Ohno something along the line of "are you feeling worried, excited or embarrassed the most?" in reply Ohno said 「全部です」ALL OF THEM
Sakurai: 「この人ね～ﾘｻｰﾁしてくるんですよ。ﾘﾊ中に2人で休憩してたら Shoく～ん。3ヶ月って長い？って聞いてくんの」
This person (meaning Ohno) try and do some research...during the rehearsal, we were both resting together...and Ohno went Sho ku-n...and asked me  is 3 month long?...(the TV drama is meant to go for 3 months)
Matumoto「なんでそんな後ろ向きなんだよ」 why are you so pessimistic? (to Ohno)
Ohno「だって分かんないんだよ」 But I dunno (how long 3 months would feel doing TV drama)

Other Ohno related bits and pieces:
Ohno: When you found out that I was to do a TV drama series, you guys laughed, didn't you!!!!!
Ninomiya: Maybe the drama will finish after 2 episodes because you cannot get up early enough for the filming...
are you really going to be OK? early morning "roke" /filming

Members: can you ? really defend people? really??

Sakurai volleyball

Sakurai 「僕の話させて下さい！」let me talk about my (volleyball reporting) story!
Ninomiya 「傘ちゃん、ちゃんと練習してるの？」Are you practicing hard (as a joke)
Sakurai 「だから（試合には）出ねーよ！」I do not play volleyball!! (just report the matches)
Other members keep teasing and joking around 「ちゃんと練習してるかどうか、ｻｰﾌﾞしてみてよ」「ほら、早く」Show us your move, go on...
Other members pretend to be waiting for Sakurai to serve a ball from the other side of the court
Sakurai pretends to bounce a ball then does a pretend jump serve

大宮SK/OhMiya SK!!!!!!!!!!

before the song started OhMiya said in the dark:｢ﾔｯﾃﾓ ﾔﾗﾅｸﾃﾓ ｵｺﾗﾚﾙｶﾗ ﾔﾙｺﾄﾆｼﾀﾖｰ｣ whether we do it or not, we are gonna get scalded anyway...so we are gonna do it

OhMiya fans cheered...!!!

They did a song about 御輿/portable shrine thing Japanese use for festivals ...
Nearly final love/kissed again...
Did some surreal dance moves...
song finished suddenly and the fans were a bit taken back...saying ｴｰｯ!!!???/what????????

OhMiya disappear from the stage and MC continued...

Afterward Ninomiya said "the audience was not satisfied so the blue one said (yuji?/nino)  to the red one(taka/oh-chan) let's go and do a quick joke but the red one said really, better not...so they did not..."

Ninomiya :｢怒られるのは俺たちじゃなくてあの2人だからね｣ it is not us but those two (OhMiya SK) who get into trouble...(as in not Nino himself...)

Other members just ignored OhMiya...

MC still continued...

Matsumoto's Movie

Aiba: 「もうみたんですか？」have you already seen it? (Matsumoto's movie)
Sakurai「見ました」 yes I have
Aiba「ぼくは、あえてまだみてません。みにいったんですか？」 I have not gone to watch it yet ...on purpose...did you go and watch it (at the theatre)?
Matsumoto 「試写室だよね？」 it was preview room, wasn't it?
Aiba「なに？」What?????
Matsumoto 「いや、Zeroで話してくれるって言うから。」 Well...Sakurai said he would talk about it on News Zero...
Sakurai 「そうそう」 That's right
Matsumoto 「じゃあお前ShimuraZOOで話してくれんのかよ！」 Well...are you gonna talk about my movie on Shimura Zoo???
Aiba「いやはなせません！はなせません！」 well, no...no, I couldn't ...

During the solo, whenever the word 「首筋」Kubisuji/neckline came up in the song, he would touch his own neckline with fingertips seductively and fans screamed
At the end of the song, he licked his fingers and touched his neckline - fans screamed really hard...

Dreamy kind of dance with lots of white drapes
During the solo, Matsumoto goes behind the white drapes back dancers are dancing with and when he re-appeared, he was TOPLESS ...well, half naked Jun singing "Naked"...

before the encore started, Eco Themed Animation with the Caterpillar was shown...

• Member colored "balls" on screen - those balls start growing legs and transform into caterpillars...
• On screen, it shows a pile of rubbish...
• Caterpillars crawl and as they do, blue sky appear and start covering the screen (wiping out the rubbish)
• Caterpillar body parts (balls) start shining (each caterpillar with each member color) and sparkling and Encore starts...
• Very high up in the dome under the ceiling, there are cocoons (lol) and Arashi members are "born" from the cocoons...
• Arashi members hang by wires hanging from the cocoons - a bit like trapeze...moving from the front main stage all the way to the back stage...
• Some of the members do flips while dangling in the air...(apparently Sho could not move with fear!)
