A little trivia about Hirayama Aya (Yoshida in Tokyo Tower)

You Arashians may already know…but  Hirayama and Matsujun used to be classmates in real life when they were at high school. Hirayama and other classmates used to call Matsujun “Mattsun”.

Hirayama was a guest in D no Arashi(I think) when they did "Interesting Camera Angle" theme presented by Aiba and Ninomiya. Ohchan called Hirayama “Cute” in the show and all other members went up to Ohchan to slap him (of course as a joke) for saying such a thing to a guest. It was funny.

Also…watching this vid's Hirayama segment somehow reminded me of what Ohno said in one of MagoMagoTalk when the talk topic was "what kind of gestures/movements you find cute when a girl does it" or something like that. Ohchan said the way a girl throws a ball is cute, and he even did a demonstration of how a girl does it… Now, obviously there has never been any rumour about Ohno and Hirayama - not that I know of...and this is my total imagination speaking …but I wonder if Ohchan was thinking of Hirayama throwing a ball in magoMagoTalk? Wouldn’t that be cute!

I have no idea what magazine this interview was published in...but because he is talking about his upcoming stage play “Strangers on a Train”, I think this is a very recent article.

Apologies for any mistake that may be included...spelling as well as translation. I do not have time to go over the translation and perfect it. I know it is a rough translation but hope it is sufficient for you to understand what Nino is talking about and get the gist of it all,ne!

Long Interview with Ninomiya Kazunari

 

The theme is “LIVE (real time/face to face)”. When I researched Ninomiya Kazunari’s activities within his field, there became a list of many pre-filmed programs, films, music, articles written in newspapers and magazines, etc. What I mean by this is that he spends most of his time creating things that gets filtered through some kind of media and put to his audience after editing, rather than having a chance to deal with who is interested in him live. So, I asked him directly, “Is it important for you to express yourself live?”.

 

“Well, the difference between live and other things depends on how the audience see it. It would be different for the audience depending on if it is through the tv screen, or a magazine. However, to me, its always live. This (being interviewed) is still live, isn’t it? Right? So, to me, there is no difference.

 

I feel that it is much bigger difference for me wether I have a character I am acting or not, rather than if it is in front of the live audience or not, if you are talking about my tension or feeling of live. A variety program without set dialogue is more live than anything. If I could say so, it is even more live to me if I was talking to a stranger at a pub. This is because I have no idea what the other person will say to me next. If I cannot hear what is said to me, then I will have to ask back. So I am more concentrated on listening. On the theatre stage, you would not ask what the other person said just because you could not hear it, right?”

 

I could not say anything to his reply of his everyday life being ‘live’ at all times. If I asked him the direction to a local town hall, this person would probably open up a world map then ask ‘so which town hall do you want to go?’”

 

I must be careful what kind of questions I ask him about acting, I thought. This is because, when he talks about acting, he sometimes say ‘I’ from the viewpoint of ‘I’ , the character he is acting. His extremely free thinking style and his own unique way of talking that sometimes lack words to explain himself fully, require the listener to really concentrate, leading to sense of tense feeling. One must listen, being free from so called common sense / fixed idea about the world, or he will take to you places you have never been before…And it reminds you…interviewing Ninomiya is LIVE, it is a confrontation without a script.

 

 

You must battle without having a character to draw from, concert is more difficult

 

 

“Although both stage play and concert are live, they are different. When doing a stage play, I am wearing a character. In contrast, in concert, I need to take off character, so there need to be substance to myself. They are both difficult, but to me, I find it more difficult to battle it out being myself. For example, in this stage play, I have lines full of dirty words, well, to say such words as a character in a play, it would not offend audience…but if I said such words in concert…audience would be offended. We are always fighting under conditions where we have no advantage/strength of a character to draw from. So, having set dialogues and directed movements in stage play, makes it easier for me.”

Also, much experience being in concert without a weapon (being himself without a character) means that he is equipped with strong nerve, as well as an advantage of being able to look at himself from a director’s point of view.

 

“I remember talking about losing memory every now and then when on stage…but that never happens during a concert. I make sure that I am high on top of the tension all the way through. Our concert is not just about talking…we have to make sure it flows well, so there is a lot to think about…because you never know what might happen. For example, if some kind of trouble happens to one of the members, then we will have to think quickly, from an audience point of view, looking at the whole stage, then decide on the next move that will make the stage appear well-balanced. So you cannot relax as such. In contrast, when doing a stage play, it is the director’s job to be looking at the whole picture, so I do not have to worry about it too much and just concentrate on what I have to do.”

 

Story goes that he did not even realise that he was bleeding while acting on stage…such concentration. However, Ninomiya himself dismissed it lightly saying “well, that is different from concentrating”.

 

“Well, it can be described as a sort of responsibility. I guess it is the same during concert, it really does not matter wether you are bleeding or whatever…if you think you can dance, you can dance…well…if I did not…that is not rude! Well, I would imagine you would still feel the pain…but if you  acknowledge the pain, you lose…so you just …do not register it…then its ok. If your girlfriend made you really disgusting meal, you can still eat it if you do not think it is disgusting, right? Its same as that.”

 

Is it the same? For ordinary people like myself, his comment begs questioning, however, Ninomiya, who “always have been like that since 13y.o.” says this like it is normal. Not everyone who has survived through competitive world of entertainment develop this kind of professional attitude. Is it his emotions, experience or the environment? I do not know what made Ninomiya the way he is, bit it is clear that he is painfully aware of the responsibility of being in the spotlight/presenting in front of people.

 

“Well! Of course it is important! They are paying money! Very important! I am selling, say, two and half hours of my time, for 9000yen or something like that. And moreover, the value of that time – two and half hours – is a lot more than the face value…lots more. Even then, people still bought ticket for me…so I must satisfy them at least for that period of time…I really think that. ..yeah…because…there are some stage plays that make you think ‘give me back my time’. I believe you have full right to say that if you felt it. I am all for people criticising a play and I think they should be allowed to write whatever they want on internet. If you are watching a play, you are paying for that right (to criticise if want to) as well. Fully inclusive.

 

So, if I go and watch my friends’ stage play, and did not think it was good, I actually tell the person straight. Only stage play I go and see on invitation are play with Arashi members in it. All other plays, I pay from my own pocket. If I did not pay for it, then I probably would feel unable to comment honestly. Well, because I pay from my own pocket…I do not often go and see a play, though *laugh*”

 

Well, his sense of responsibility stemmed from very fair value system of respecting money and time!

 

No time to breath yet. His words are realistic, full of energy and negative …those powerful words continue out from his mouth. Forget making comments about what he has got to say…let’s just listen to him for a while…

 

“Well, there are people out there who would shuffle their work around so they can come and see my play…and if the play was no good…I would not be happy. Well, I am very narrow-minded, so I would not be happy *laugh*! In contrast, if the play was really good, then it would make me want to work hard again …who knows? Maybe it becomes a reason to enjoy work …dirty (not great)  intentions usually works best, you know?

 

I used to be really bad at any event that require me to work/be/participate in a group/as a member of a group(or just large number of people) …School Sports day, School Excursion, School Trips…I really really did not like them at all. Even now, if I can be honest, I  actually do not really like being in a movie theatre or a play theatre. As for concert…I can put a concert on as a performer…but could not attend one as an audience. From the viewpoint of someone like me, I think it must be so difficult to be an audience as everything is so strictly regulated – opening time, starting time, break time, finishing time…all of them…So, when I am the one performing and not the audience, I want to make sure that audience feel that it was worth all that hassles ( of strict time regulation etc.) . I want to create a play that make people feel that way when finished.

 

 

The opening day is all about peak performance

Goal is to maintain that peak

 

 

“As long as there are people who can only make it to the opening day of the stage play, I believe it is our responsibility to show a play that is solid and completed from the first day. If that is not possible, then there should be ‘opening day 20% off” special or something. People from the same entertainment industry send flowers on opening day – the flowers mean ‘congratulation on creating finished product(the stage play)’, right? I am really against using excuses like ‘sorry things were not as it was meant to be as it was only the opening/first day…’ So, my goal is to reach my peak performance on the first day, and to maintain it until the final show. Of course it is difficult to maintain…but isn’t maintaining the most difficult part of most things? It is easy to lose or gain weight with a goal in mind, but to maintain today’s weight into tomorrow is difficult, isn’t it? And it is kind of boring. I feel that it is important for me to maintain the same standard all the way through … especially because this play is not a comedy. So…well…I guess its not a really good thing…but I am reluctant to listening to suggestions to improvement once a play is opened. I think it is great to try to continuously improve…but everyday, I give all I have…so after doing that, then given suggestions for improvement…I do not have energy (could be read as power or wisdom or maturity)  to listen and say ‘yes, I will change that tomorrow’ yet. If you could do better, then why could you not get to that level during practice? You can think that way, too. I never had a performance where I had regrets after giving it my 100%.”

 

After speaking for a while, Ninomiya finished his sentence, then seeming pensive, looked in the air. It gave me chance to catch deep breath. His determined attitude towards creating high quality work is not limited to just stage play but for all his work, fuelled by his view on wanting to return on audience’s investment.

 

“I think the important thing is to keep the emotion in control and calm. I do not do stretching exercise or voice training or shout out to put spirit into things. I do not deny those things. If someone asked me to do it with him/her, I would reply ‘sounds good’ and will do it. But this character for this play is sort of confusing/hard to understand. I feel that if I put too much spirit into it, then there may be uncomfortable difference in mood between myself and the audience…so I feel I should not be over the top with it.

 

“He comes up with the most complete version of the character before anyone else” was the words given by Tsutsumi Yukihiko (director) when I was gathering information for this story. Now I understood why.  It is never too early for Ninomiya. To have developed the character – the finished product -  at  very early stage of practicing/rehearsals, it will give time for him to struggle with it for perfection, then also time to get used to it before the opening day.  ‘To finish forming the character by the opening day” is not enough for him.

 

 

I would like to let as many people as the law allow into the theatre

 

 

“I have not yet done a comedy play at theatre. If it is a comedy, the audience would laugh out loud, so it would let me know that ‘I was right’. But no one cry out loud at a theatre, right *laugh*? There is no sign from the audience so could not gauge reaction. So, I guess it depends on what kind of play it is…but the audience of a stage play always felt close in bodies, but very far away. “

 

So close yet so far, is the same for the audience wanting to get inside the Globe theatre in Tokyo. Ninomiya Kazunari – someone the world is watching right now, starring in a stage play after long absence…it would be battle for all to get a hand on a ticket. When asked what he thinks of the ticket situation, he clowned around.

 

“Well, of course! Its starring Ninomiya-kun from ARASHI! Of course it will be a serious battle for tickets. ..well*laughs* I am so thankful…To have fully booked seats is an extreme extravagance, really…if I could, I would like to fill the theatre to the brim and let everyone in…but there is a limit as maximum capacity is set…so I cannot. I sincerely wish for even just one more person to watch this stage play…but I do not think this is a kind of play to be performed at bigger theatre like Aoyama theatre …I hope you understand…Anyway…I will do my best to put on a performance that will not lead to anyone shouting ‘refund the money!’.”

 

Well, it went right around and back to money again. It is almost like Ninomiya has burdened himself with a huge loan from the audience …loan of their time and money, sacrificed by the audience…as well as paying price of being put through pain and hassles of forced to do what he/she is told according to a group rule…so he feels he is indebted to repay them.

 

 I do not want people to misunderstand…but I feel that if I describe Ninomiya’s attitude that way, it help to explain why he has such extreme sense of responsibility. If there are no audience who is actually thinking they are sacrificing money and time, or feeling pained about being an audience at theatre…maybe we should keep that a secret from Ninomiya. That would ensure that we will be rewarded with top class performance from him again in the future.

It is complete excuse but listen! well, today, Higashiyama san is here to watch us...I wanted to show him how much I grew (improved) , trying to show off...then I did the backflip - I ended up flipping twice (instead of once/over-rotated)...It was first time I did the back flip on this stage set up...
Matujun:That is true ...I was so shocked /surprised
Aiba: If it was Higashiyama, he would have jumped, going BANG, then Bang! still pose!!
Matujun: You did scare me. I thought "oh no, one dead..."
Sho: so glad he did not injure himself seriously (escaped unscathed)
Nino: well, you cannot say that Aiba got out of his accident unscathed ...

Back to Aiba ripped pants story...:

Aiba: We danced Lucky Man, individually right?

Re-enactment  starts with Matujun, then Shokun,
Membes tell Sho-kun off saying "Lucky man dance is not like that!!"
So Sho kun danced again but again doing funny dancing complete with crazy rapper pose...
Members ignore Sho-kun...LOL

Aiba continues on with his re-enactment, putting his one hand on the floor, and swinging up one of his legs...then backside of his pants RIP.

Aiba: after that, the backside felt very loose ...

He continues dancing, showing how he could not open his legs when dancing after that incident...

Matujun: you could not open your legs...
Sho: well, so then, the audience from around here noticed?
Aiba: I am so sorry...I did not mean it! Believe me!

Sho kun talks without goal in mind ...(aimlessly):

Sho: Its got dark...around Subarashiki sekai...it started to get dark...and the penlights were beautiful
Aiba: is it OK to speak so aimlessly/without goal in mind? By the way, I got so hyped up before the live that I ate curry! Did you know? Once upon a time, Ichiro (famous US major league baseball player from Japan) used to eat Curry before the match!
Nino: once upon a time...he USED to...
Sho: he is still playing!
Nino: the story Aiba heard was an old news...
Ohno: (speaks probably for the first time in MC...LOL) He (aiba) was eating too much...
Aiba: do you think so???
Ohno: there was this much!
Matsujun: For the jinx's sake, you were eating Katsu curry (Katsu means WIN or Success in Japanese - Katsu is also a dish like schnitzel - usually pork - so, Aiba chan was eating curry on rice with pork schnitzel thing on top...)
Aiba: Katsu was very KATAI (hard/chewy)
Matujun:Karai(hot)? oh, Katai? Was it hard?
Aiba: it was hard...but it was yummy!

24hr TV talk:

Matsujun: A lot of donation...the amount of donation was amazing - thank you
Sho: it was 4 years since we did it last time..we got older...in a bad sense...it started at 6.30pm, and at 7.30pm, Aiba chan was already crying! (they say as you get older , people become more impressionable/easy to cry)
Aiba; well...I cannot deny that I was crying...that is true...
Nino: what was interesting and surprising was ...I was reading "Jump" (a comic magazine targeting boys in Japan), and there was a Mail section (where the readers write in), one of the question was complete the sentence..."I would hate 24hr TV where ..." (or something like that) and there was one answer saying "people start crying after just one hour!" LOL
Aiba: we were more involved than 4 years ago, don't you think?
Matsujun: I liked members' sections, too...I was so touched by the dolphin segment (aiba's segment)
Nino: oh, Aiba, you are such a good guy!
Matsujun: yeah, Aiba san is such a good guy!
Aiba: that was so much fun! I was so happy to be able to assist Kosaku-kun's dream to come true!
Nino: I really enjoyed doing Magic trick weather report!
Sho: we did have the weather report segment 4 years ago, too, right?
Matsujun: It was Kakutou (fighting/martial art) weather report...LOL...Today, the weather is fine...(kick!)!!
Nino: (to the audience) who watched magic weather report???
Audience: many respond and raise hands
Aiba: wow! isn't that great!
Nino: wow, I am so happy! How about people who could guess how I did it???
Audience: some people respond by raising hands
Nino: right...drop your hands...
Sho: Oi!
Nino: well, it would not be good if people started talking about how I did that trick...
oh, I almost forgot...who watched 24hr tv (as in , the whole 24 hours, staying up...)???
Audience: Yeeeeeeesssss (many raise hands)
Matsujun: wow...that is amazing...we were on screen...so there is that nervousness...
Aiba: Riida, you nearly fell asleep, ne?
Ohno: No I did NOT (loudl voice...LOL)
Aiba: you were creating (art)
Ohno: yeah, such a surprise...such little time...
Nino&Matujun: that was amazing
Sho: yes, it was...by the way...what is the greatest mystery of all for me is...after the 24hr tv finished, matsujun was asking his manager for a copy of 24hr tv ...are you gonna watch it?
Matsujun: I will...little by little...today, I will watch until this segment...and such...
Nino: he will do it. He is the man!
Matsujun: the other day, I got 27hr tv copy (another Japanese TV program)
Sho: how far into it have you watched...?
Matsujun: 3 hours worth...LOL
Nino: He is the kind of guy who start watching Laputa (Castle in the Sky - animation movie) at 3 in the morning all of sudden...
Matsujun: well...suddenly I feel like watching it...
Nino: at 3 in the morning???
Sho: I too sometimes feel like that...but usually people would choose to sleep...
Matsujun: well...there is something about Ghibli (Japanese animation studio/production company who made Laputa) ...so the experiment segment in 24hr tv played Totoro(my neighbour Totoro - another Ghibli animation movie) theme song, I felt so satisfied...

as they walk back to the main stage from centre stage...
Sho: August was such a rich/busy month...Nino will start his new drama in autum, too
Nino: it will start on 17th Oct. It is my mother's birthday
Aiba: how old will your mother be?
nino: well, I would rather talk about the TV drama...my mother will get angry if I reveal her age...
Aiba: you look so much like your mother
Nino: we look alike
Sho: (Nino's drama) starts after Ohno-kun's Maou...
Ohno: ah,its Maou day today (as in every Fridays Maou airs and it was Friday)
Matsujun: what a pity...the fans here will not be able to watch it (since the concert was not meant to finish until 9pm and many would take long to get home)
Ohno: Oh, everyone please go home now (to watch Maou)
Sho: Oi! Don't be so rude!!! they have come from far to watch us!
Ohno: I know...so please everyone go home by 10pm (starting time of Maou drama)
Nino: its OK...you just have to do Maou real time here...
Ohno: (ignores Nino) ah...Nino starts his drama after Maou finishes...its like passing a baton...
Nino: we already said that...

About Beijing:

Nino: we got few medals, didnt we? How many did you get, Sho-kun?
Sho: what??? I ...did not get any...
Nino: what was most exciting at Beijing?
Sho: I was most excited to watch Bolt run 200m
Nino: not 100m?
Sho: 100m was too easy for him...he was like this at the end! (sho did an impersonation of Bolt)
Nino: it was as if to say "see you next weeeek!" (good bye~)
Matsujun: why did you do the impersonation of Bold when we did the introduction of the members before...?
Sho:..please mention that...I cannot give you any funny answer...I totally know the fans did not react kindly to it as well...

Audience and Members cheer him on to do the impersonation of Bolt...

Sho: (to the fans) but you will not react much anyway!
Nino: nezt time you do it, we will give you a big reaction!

Sho does the impersonation of Bolt (patting head and finger pointing gesture) But the audience does not respond kindly with big cheer...

Matsujun: it did not go well...as expected...
Sho: even i do not understand why I came to perform that again...LOL

Moving on to Kaze no mukoue

Matsumoto asks the staff to wipe the water on stage (from the water feature they had)

Aiba: leaking water
Matsujun: not leaking...!!
Aiba: looks slippery...
Matujun: please be careful, you have done it before(slipped at a concert)
Aiba: I thought I cracked my head open!
Sho: well~ you may have heard the song over and over during the month of august...(apparently, Sho kun made mistakes saying this )
Sho: I know, its OK, I know I made a mistake...
Nino: no one said anything about it!
Sho: well, I have decided to start commenting on my own mistakes before anyone else does from now on...
Nino:...you have toughened up, haven't you? You are the first born of the family, right? (the first born male meant to be the tough one...??)

As Kokuritsu was the stadium used for Tokyo Olympic, there is a Video footage by Ogusan (of Syukudai kun) doing a quick talk on Olympic, ending with a message of "please be the witnesses of 5 young people who will travel to Asia from here..."

After Shokun solo, with theme of Dream A live in the background, they introduce live band members, MADF (?), MAD juniors, then onto introducing Arashi members...

Matsujun: he goes real close to the camera, then licks his finger
Nino: performs a magic trick, after that, he throws a kiss at camera
ohno: eye movement trick - same trick as the one he did at Dome concert
Aiba: does some funny trick using his hand...??? Doing a cute pose of some kind...sorry, not sure what the reports  mean...as I have not seen it and description does not make much sense to me...(cries)
Sho: does a quick rap with members dancing around him 

Greetings after the Encore:

Matsujun: at a huge place like this, with so many people turning up, to put on such a great show...it is totally thanks to you....each and one of you...next year, 10th anniversary concert...I promise to make it great...so please show us your beautiful face again then (although it was so touching, some giggled when he said "beautiful face" lol)

Aiba: finally, I could put on a Tshirt! (because he lost Janken-Rock Paper Scissors so he had to dive into a small tank of water earlier, running around in board shorts...)

Nino: when we were saying "what's our name~", this person was naked...!

Aiba: true...anyway...it was so much fun, wasn't it?

Ohno: yeah...the fireworks was fun!

Nino:...if it was Ok with you, it would have been nicer if you said the concert was fun...and not the fireworks...

Ohno: (ignoring Nino's comment) the fireworks made it such a great ending, don't you think?
Matujun: ...should we sing one more?

Audience: kyaaaaaaa~

Matsujun:...that (audience's cheer) is not enough!

Aiba: oh, no! you made Matsumoto san angry!

 Matsujun: I am NOT angry...!

Aiba: you ARE angry...!

apparently...then...Matsujun grabbed Aiba-chan's hand and BIT Aibachan's finger... (playfully, but very hard...leaving teethmark...) !!!

Aiba:Ouch! Oh my god! it is first time been bitten by HUMAN (aiba chan often bitten by animals in a show he appears,ne) I can see teethmark!!!!

Hello Goodbye (Aibachan solo )- Eyes getting very watery especially after singing his solo (he managed to successfully do the mouth harp bit without problems!) and the fans screamed and cheered him.

Subarashiki Sekai - members in pastel coloured suit, sitting on chairs on stage - maybe they timed it well or maybe it was a lovely coincidence, but the sun started to go down while singing this song and it was apparently really beautiful

Tomadoinagara - under the red sky, the band played live (acoustic)

Take me faraway (ohno solo) - same costume as Dome con

Niji (Nino solo) same costume as Time con, played piano (white mini grand) with glasses on, of course he took it off at the end, and cheered by many fans...

Tell me what yo wanna be? (Matujun solo) - sun glasses, the live band played again

HIp Pop Boogie (Sho solo) - apparently sang (?) rap lyrics without music to start with then onto the actual song...??

The fireworks - Arashi Colours!!!! Yay!!!

Apparently, there is a live band member whose name is Imai Tsubasa (same as Takky & Tsubasa) ...LOL

PERSONALLY...I do not really believe in gossip mags...but  Ohno IS a healthy 27 y.o. boy, right?
So whatever the truth...GOOD LUCK TO HIM...if the Friday article is all crap, then I sure do hope that no one - like Ohno himself OR anyone who he cares about (like, his real girlfriend if there is one) is feeling hurt or sad about it.
I am writing this from my own point of view, adding a bit of sarcastic humor ( I cannot help myself) be warned!

So, only for those who LOVE Ohno and Arashi and who will not be broken hearted by seeing love love shots (LOL) of Arashi members...and those who will not take offense to me making a joke out of the situation...

Well, the mag reckons that the photo was taken last autumn (Sep-Nov 2007) and from the angle of the photo, and the position of Ohno's arm, Ohno was meant to have taken the photo himself, holding out the camera/mobile phone with camera.

The mag does not claim they are "dating" but implies by saying holding her so closely like that, they must be "more than friends"(sorry - it is not like I am in denial, and I certainly would congratulate him for dispelling the gay rumors with the photos...but looking at the photo...how can they say they must be dating...!!!!! LOL)

I must say...very very very cute photo of Ohno...and they both look very happy and smiley (and maybe tipsy, too) good for them!

Anyway...

So, who is Yoshino Kimika?

She was born on 5th Sep, 1975, making her about 5 years older than him.

Oh-chan and Kimika-san acted in Sengoku-Pu theater play together back in 2003.

She was very popular as Idol/Grabia Idol (sexy idol? should I say?) .

She debuted in 1989 and peaked in popularity around 1994-1996 - she was the leading actress in horror movie series called "EkoEkoAzaraku - Wizard of Darkness" in which she played a witch heroine with a dark side (and nudity!).

She used to date a big baseball star Kiyohara but dumped in 1996, suffered from anorexia after that and lost 10kg and got hospitalised, then had a brief break from her entertainment career.

She then dated Nagura san (a comedian) from 1998-2002/3 fro 5 years, and lived with him , and Nagura even did an announcement saying that he has introduced Kimika to his parents already and they are dating in view to marry...BUT ...they broke up and in ２００５、Nagura married ex-idol Watanabe Marina instead.

Poor Kimika...!

Anyway...Oh-chan and Kimika-san met in 2003 during Sengoku pu...if they are dating, we do not know since when and for how long...but hey, friend or more than friend...they seem to keep each other happy :)

In my previous entry, I have written about Oh-chan's relationship rumors entitled "Oh-chan Relationship Rumors - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"

It seems they have been good friends since Butai, and there have been many rumors saying that they are dating.

Some people say that a "friend" Kimika refers to in her blog, is in fact, Oh-chan etc.
Apparently, there have been a few blog entries that seemed to prove that they are, at least, very good friends(if the rumor is true) and maybe even more...

For example, Kimika wrote about receiving a souvenir from a "friend" who went to Fukuoka - at the same time, Oh-chan was in Fukuoka doing Arashi concert etc.

She has been seen at Arashi concert and apparently, at one of the concerts, Oh-chan threw his sign board at her and she caught it LOL.

Well, what I know is that they are, definitely, at least, good friends.

In my previous entry, "Riida's Friend　－　Junya Kudo　" I introduced another good friend of Oh-chan - Kuyan.
Ironically, almost a year ago, on 7th July, 2007, Kuyan wrote about drinking alone with Oh-chan at a pub.

Then, a few of their friends "happen" to come to the same pub and they ended up drinking together.

In both photos, Oh-chan was the photographer, and he sneaked in his hand doing a peace sign.

In the second photo, it shows Kimika-san (left hand side), with Ku-yan's hand around her...

I was looking at the photo...and this is where I went into a big laughing binge...

OK, so, if Friday mag says "they must be more than friends"...then Kuyan must be dating Kimika, too...LOOK AT HOW HE HOLDS  KIMIKA SO CLOSE TO HIM!

and...

JUN and Oh-chan MUST be more than friends...LOOK!

OH MY!!!!! Jun and Ohno MUST be dating!!! Look at those photos !!

Hang on...NOOOOOOOOO! They are not just dating...they MUST be living together...!!!

When I first heard about the "scandal" ...my first thought was... who is it with ...? Sho-chan? Nino? LOL

Anyway...some rumor says that the photo Friday mag was meant to release was actually Oh-chan and Kimika doing something naughty in  Kimika's car (since Oh-chan does not have a driving licence and does not have a car...) ...
Apparently, the Johnny's Jimusho negotiated with the magazine people and offered Ohno & Kimika shot instead.

Some rumor say that it is all set up - as in Jimusho  knowingly leaked the photos  to  advertise Ohno's new drama, trying to get attention of the public...

At today's concert, apparently no one mentioned the photos or the Friday scandal...in the past, Nino dealt with his scandal saying "Don't worry...and Keep following me/Stay being my fan cuz there is nothing to worry about" sort of comment during the concert and Aiba dealt with it by apologising to the fans during the concert...with Oh-chan...nothing...

So maybe it is complete gossip/crap, or maybe it is true, maybe it is a set up publicity scam...who knows?

But what I do not understand - although I AM Japanese...is this...WHY IS IT A "BETRAYAL" to the fans if  Johnny's Idol has a girlfriend??????????? Why is it such a big deal???????????? Why should the fans stop supporting them if they have so called scandals with females...??????WHY? I cannot understand...To me...well...it is awfully scary to think healthy 27yo has never had a girlfriend...especially someone as attractive as Ohno...or any other Arashi members...

I was saddened to see messages from angry fans (or people pretending to be fans)  criticising Oh-chan for failing to be professional...as an idol, it is meant to be his job to hide any girlfriend related facts from his fans...he is stupid to take such photo ...he is gonnna bring Arashi down with his stupidity and unprofessionalism...etc. etc... Agggrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Please ...people...get a life! I just thought poor Oh-chan must have felt hurt if he saw any of those comments written about him...(cries)

Your Song at Tokyo Dome

今日は嵐のライブに行ってきました。

I went to Arashi's live today.

といっても、チケットが手に入らず、

東京ドームの前で呆然と立ち尽くしていました（笑）

However, I could not get a ticket, so I was standing, totally dazed, in front of Tokyo dome LOL.

男性１名。周りは皆女の子。

One male person...around me were all girls.

不思議な人・・・・って思われた方が多数。多分僕です。

If you noticed a weired person, that was probably me.

ダフ屋すら全くいない・・・・・、

Not even　a scalper selling tickets...

東京ドームの周りにはチケットが手に入らなかったファンの方が数百人はいたんじゃないかなぁ。

I think there were at least a couple of hundred fans who could not get tickets around Tokyo dome.

嵐の人気はすごいと思っていたけれど、

ここまで凄まじいとは・・。

I thought Arashi was popular...

but did not realise just how popular...

曲を作るにあたってwikipediaとか調べて、色々彼等のことを知っていくと

嵐は本当に才能と努力の塊。

When I was writing a song, I researched Arashi and realised just how talented and hardworking they are.

普通に関心して頭が下がり、本当にいいグループだと思います。

I naturally was impressed and think Arashi is such a great group.

アンチアイドルの方は一回調べると、見方が変わりますよ（笑）

If you have a negative view towards "idol", you should do your research properly - your view will change LOL.

僕が作った曲、「YOUR SONG」が、

特にライブで皆で歌うことを想定した曲ということもあり、

満員の東京ドームで「ラララ、ラーララ」

の響きを聴いてみたかったんです。

I wanted to listen to the song I made...[Your Song]...the song written, assuming it to be sang by the fans at the live...I wanted to listen to [alala, la-lala] echoing in Tokyo dome filled with Arashi fans...singing it together...

「YOUR SONG」が歌われているとき、

会場の方がものすごく歌ってくれていて、

僕がいた少し肌寒い、ドームの外までよく聞こえてきました。

Fans inside the Tokyo dome were all singing along to Your Song, the sound traveled to outside of the Tokyo dome, where I was , feeling the cold night air.

それと呼応するように、

ドームの周りにいる人たちが、

驚くほど、皆、歌っていて、

It was like in response, people around the Tokyo dome, surprisingly many of them actually sang along outside as well...

終わった後には、皆で歓声と拍手。

and once they finished singing, everyone clapped and cheered...

警備員の方から、「静かにしてください」と注意がはいるほど。

It was so noisy that security guard actually told us to be quiet...

正直ジーンとした。

Well...to be honest...I was so touched.

あぁ中で聴きてぇ・・・・・。

Ah, I want to listen to it inside...

正直。

My honest thought...

多分色々複雑な感情を抱くことになるとは思うけれど、

その気持ちを自分に刻み込まなければいけない気がする。

I believe it will give me many complicated feelings...but I feel I must feel those feelings and hold them dear.

福岡か北海道のライブに旅行がてら行こうと思う。

I am thinking of going to Fukuoka or Hokkaido (Sapporo) for a little trip and also to attend Arashi's live.

素直な感動と、次の自分のステップへのとてつもないモチベーションに。
For a beautiful touching feeling and huge motivation for me to take a next step forward .

激熱な仕上がり。これ、採用になります。（多分）・・といいなぁ。

Excellent finishing product...I hope it does get used...

JIGSOULの曲も色々アイデアたまってきているから一気に形にするぞ。

I have gathered many ideas for Jigsoul, too...I am gonna make them into something tangible...

I got a ticket to Fukuoka dome on 19th and am on my way to a little trip of my own LOL.

結局東京ドームには入れずじまいなので、本日入手しました。

After all, I could not get into the Tokyo dome...so I got this ticket today.

When Arashi and 50,000fans sang together at Fukuoka dome, sweet and powerful harmony I have never heard before was born.

僕の中でYOUR　SONGという歌が本当の産声をあげた瞬間だった。

To me, it was the moment YOUR SONG was actually born.

僕は歌うのと同時に、何度ぬぐってもぼやけてしまう目に、ステージを、ファンの方の表情を、そして優しくゆれる色とりどりのペンライトの光の海を焼き付けようと必死だった。

I was trying so hard to expose the image of the stage, the facial expressions of the fans, and the ocean of colourful lights waving gently onto my eyes which kept welling up with tears as I sang along.

「この響きが探し続けてきた歌」

その響きには歌詞すらない。

No lyrics to the harmony...

でも苦しいほど胸がいっぱいに。

yet my heart was filled...

僕はこの歌のほんのきっかけを作ったに過ぎないけど、自分がこの曲を生み出せたことを誇りに思っています。

I only contribute a little to creating the "song" (he is referring to the song sang along by 50000fans at dome) , but I am proud that I created the song.

さらに、ライブの最後にCDと違うアレンジで用意されていて･･･、僕が最初に作ったものに近い、本当にシンプルなアレンジでこの歌が歌われていたことも嬉しかった。

Furthermore...the song sang at the dome at the end of the live was arranged differently to the one recorded in the album...it was actually closer to the original song I created with simple arrange...that was even more touching to hear it sang in more original form...

嵐のライブは「伝えること」を本当に大切に考えられていて、この歌を、嵐が歌ってくれて本当に良かった。

Arashi thinks seriously about "communication"at  their live, and I am so glad that Arashi sang the song.

会場があれだけ１つになれたのは、嵐だったから。

It was because it was Arashi that the whole dome could became one like that...

この感動を必ず素敵な曲にしてみせます！

Sho:we are trying to decide of Arashi should each play a character from HanaDan, or all five of us play Domyoji...

well...we were boxed in and the lid was shut tight for 3 years...Johnny's entertainment actually finally tried to start marketing Arashi seriously...so very solid lid was on our head...for three years, we kept banging on the lid...then...Taka's fringe became like Kawai Shunichi!

Yuji: ...Taka...you can speak...can't you?

as they were leaving the stage, Taka says "Happy birthday"and kisses Yuji on his cheek.

Yuji falls onto the floor after being kissed by Taka.

Taka was walking up behind Yuji, so accidently stepped on Yuji's hand when Yuji fell down.

Yuji: Ouch! can you decide if you are going to be naughty or nice! ?

Yuji gets up and two of them start walking off the stage together ...THEN Taka kisses Yuji again!

Sho:...did you feel it? I think the Sk themselves are feeling this weired atmosphere the most...

Jun: well, they were gone for three years! of course people forget!

(Yuji tries to punch Taka in the stomach but laughing tooo much that he cannot do it)

Sho: I am doing it properly in Yatta-man!  (because as usual, Sho did not do flips while being hung by the wire off the balloon)

After Once Again, Sho introduces Female dancers (10 of them) and MAD (also 10 of them)

Audience starts singing happy birthday to Nino

Nino looks embarrassed but happy.

Nino: well, thank you all for gathering here just for me...

Sho: isn't it first time for you to have birthday celebration during concert?

Nino: well, I still have two more days...but I am turning 25...nwo I think about it...I have gotten old...well, I am so grateful...thankyou...it was so much fun , tokyo!

Jun: oh, what was I saying before...? ah, this is the third time at the Tokyo dome...we never thought that we would ever appear in front of so many audience when we debut.

nino: well, our first appearance was in the middle of the ocean...we had no audience...

Jun: yeah, to top it off, our costume was transparent...

Nino: Group arashi was sort of experiment...we sang Enka in our first concert...

Sho: I sang Yosaku!

Ohno: I sang Yukiguni

Nino: Enka was really fresh and new back then to us...

Jun: after 10 years...we are now in a position to be able to share our joys with so many people like this...I did think and re-affirmed the thought that we only exist thanks to those who support us...we would like to keep deepening our love between us, continuing on to Fukuoka, Sapporo, then The National Stadium and Asia tour...working towards the 10th anniversary. Please come and see us again...well...it really has been so much fun....should we do it...?

Apparently, Chinen had Oh-chan's official concert Uchiwa...BUT had the flip side HAND DECORATED with shiny  stuff and had a message (0r fan service request?) written in the middle of it...ah, so cute,ne.
Oh-chan waving and smiling at Chinen during the concert and Chinen very happy...I think Okamoto kun may also have had Oh-chan official Uchiwa...(obviously not hand decorated like Chinen's...LOL)
