Oh-chan's Home in Kyoto

Another quick caps in response to / as addition to one of the prev posts - Oh-chan when he was 16-18y.o. - Kyoto days.

Oh-chan's home in Kyoto...This is the Inn Ohno and Hara stayed at while doing Kyo to Kyo,ne. Machida was also there!

Ohno looking very happy to come across (or purposefully went there?) his old home in Kyoto!

  Ohno's room was the middle room upstairs...

Ohno was talking with one of the Ryokan staff (Ms Takigawa - must be a family business,ne!)
Here, Ohno is asking about a good sweet/dessert restaurant in the area - the information he was meant to look for to take back to the guest of the show...The lady told him about a shop and Ohno is sayins "ore, ittakoto naiyone?" - "I have not been there, have I?"...to this, the lady replied "Of course NOT!" LOL...I think Riida spent most of his time in his room drawing and making remote controlled cars, ne!

At the end of the show, where they show "Jyoukamachi Map" showing all the places visited in the show, there was no mention of Takigawa Ryokan...

So Ohno got angry and said"Ryokan ga naijyanai!" - "There is no Takigawa Ryokan on the map!!!"

Ohno pointing at the location of Takigawa Ryokan on the map saying "Hey, please! Takigawa san (as in Ryokan) really looked after me!!". Good work Oh-chan! The program staff did add Takigawa Ryokna to the map later,ne!

I thought it was so cute how Ohno was so happy to see Ryokan people. He actually called the older lady at the front desk - Mrs Takigarwa - "Okaachan" .  "Okaachan" which is affectionate and frank way of saying "mother",ne! I think it is not uncommon for some people to use Okaachan to call people like her (lady mistress of traditional Inn) or owners of Izakaya type pubs/restaurant...But I suppose she must have been like substitute mum while Ohno was living there for 2 years...the way Ohno called her Okaachan...So cute...
